The Process
Great design and branding requires trust:
client and designer partnering together to achieve the best solution.

Every project begins with discovery and the question, “why?” Why are we doing this and whom are we trying to reach?
These are followed up with more questions — and the quality of the answers largely determines the effectiveness of the design, because good design always solves a problem. Indeed, therein lies its value. So, there must be clear objectives before having any hope of coming up with a strategy for an appropriate solution. Just like a surgeon, we need to diagnose before we can work towards a cure.
Design is also not done in a vacuum. I don’t go off to a dungeon somewhere and magically reappear with the perfect design.
I hope to be your trusted advisor but the client is just as big a part of their project’s success as I am. We each have a role to play, and through a combination of trust and mutual respect, design is not only a smooth process but an exhilarating one — working together to meet your goals.
When it comes to the creative process, I work in phases so you are included every step of the way. I’ve found this to be the best way to ensure everybody is on the same page and eliminate surprises.
Always remember, design is not just about how something looks — but also about how it works.
